Responsibilities
- Assist with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Prepare patients for surgery and provide nursing care
- Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
- Place IV catheters and administer medications as directed
- Take digital radiographs
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Educate clients on procedures and at-home care
- Help keep our hospital clean, organized, and efficient
Qualifications
Veterinary Assistant
Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience preferred; surgical experience is a plus.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Current Colorado RVT license (or ability to obtain), with experience in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, dentistry, radiology, laboratory procedures, and patient nursing care.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for teamwork.
